 Cable joint waterproofing process:

    1. After connecting each core of the cable, first wipe the cable sheath at both ends of the connector with alcohol to clean it. Waterproof connector

    2. Use PVC insulation tape to wrap the core around the two parts, to avoid burrs on the core to damage the self-adhesive tape. Here is just the part without the insulation layer. If there are no glitches, this step can be skipped.

    3. After confirming the cleanliness of the cable insulation layer, stretch the high-pressure self-adhesive tape to about three four times, then surround the three layers after satisfying the requirements. When wrapping, the two ends must cover at least twice the length of the glue band of the intact insulation layer.

    4. Two to three layers of PVC insulating tape the outside are used to waterproof the single core, then each core is processed in sequence, then the entire cable is processed in the same process.

    Other requirements clarify that PVC tape does have a waterproof effect. If we wrap the insulating tape first, it is equivalent to weakening the waterproof performance of the self-adhesive tape, the self-adhesive tape is simple to stick, the strength is as good as PVC insulating tape. Play a role of blocking protection. In addition, the self-adhesive tape must be stretched to meet the length when used.
